Liverpool finished just four points behind Man Utd last season.
Torres had just signed a new four-year deal which raised his pay

Another 'graceful' lose for Singapore

Singapore drawed against China,
but lost in penalties.
If Singapore did not have so many players injured,
we might have won the match.
Noh Alam Shah finally had the chance to put on the armband.
His dream of leading a team of players in a match had finally come true.
Even though we lost,
we did not lose miserably.

Capello to measure England's progress without Gerrard.

It cannot be worse,
with Steven Gerrard injured once again,
Fabio Capello(in case you do not know, he is the manager of England),
needed to play his players without him.
Gerrard pulled out of the England squad,
saying that he had a groin problem.
This is a crucial chance to measure England's progress against Netherlands,
which is the world's No.3 football team.
Now, they are going to face these star players:
Dirk Kuyt and Ryan Babel from Liverpool,
Robin van Persie from Arsenal,
and Nigel de Jong from Manchester City.

Man Utd goes down the drain!!!

Sir Alex Ferguson blames referee for not giving red card to Michael Ballack!

They lost again...
a disappointment to Man Utd.
Especially to Chelsea,
their long time nemesis...

The Community Shield was taken by Chelsea on 9 August 2009,
with two wonderful scores by Carvalho and Lampard respectively.
But if the referee gave Michael Ballack a red card,
it will be a different situation...

Michael Ballack had blocked Evra and the referee did not give
a Red card!

But I'm happy that Chelsea won by penalties.
It's quite interesting.
